Wow !!! December already, can you believe it? This year really flew by. Lets take a look back at 2006 and recap some of the highlights. We standardized our winter meeting dates to always be the Second Sunday of the month at the Bordentown Community Center. We had several interesting Tech Sessions including Differentials 101 by Tom Merring, and March Model Madness by Mike Berry and Jim Thackeray.
Our Annual Banquet at Wild Flowers Two was well attended and all had a good time. The Annual Junk Yard Run was a fun weekend, with great weather, and a yard full of cars that hadn’t yet been picked over. Everyone really enjoyed the comedy show Friday night, however unfortunately the next morning many of our members felt the prices at the Junk Yard were also a joke.
The Drive-In Cruise in Vineland New Jersey gave Jim Thackeray an opportunity to display his skills as the Captain of the SS Impala. Several Jersey Late Greats members enjoyed participating in the Lincoln Highway Tour. And the26th Annual Late Great Chevy Convention in Minnesota and the “See the USA in Your Chevrolet” road trip to and from this year’s convention was really great.
The club sponsored a Road Rally in October. The good news is the Rally was extremely well planned, organized and executed. The bad news is that it could have been better attended. The summer picnic meetings are always a favorite for me, and this year was no exception. Thanks to everyone who helped organize and host the events for the club this past year.
Looking forward to 2007, there are some new events scheduled this year. Check out the Club Calendar in this newsletter and be sure to reserve the dates of the events you would like to attend.

We will also have a covered dish dinner at our December meeting. Bring a dish and bring your appetite! If you are not sure what to bring, please call our Club Secretary Maureen Humphreys and she will help you decide.
