The Jersey Late Greats launched into 2007 with a very impressive Hole Shot! What I mean by that is the club covered a lot of material, shared some great ideas, and have a number of aggressive goals set for this year.
To summarize:
1. A team has been established to plan and implement this years Road Rally.
2. This year’s club picnic will be expanded to a multi-car club event. We will be inviting 5 or 6 other car clubs to join us this year.
3. Al Bernotas has all the arrangements made for this years Annual Banquet. (Please contact Al if you are planning to attend). Banquet details are listed later in this newsletter.
4. Mike Berry has found a great location for this years Junk Yard Run. Stay tuned for more information in next month’s newsletter.
5. We have a team assembled to help with this years Membership Drive at Englishtown.
6. The club will investigate having Club Jackets made this year.
Yes! We got a ton accomplished at our January meeting, and all in less than 1 hour and 55 minutes. (YEAH !!!)
After a short intermission and doughnut break, we gathered around for the “Got Gas” Tech Session presented by our very own Tom Merring. Tom never ceases to amaze me with his Tech Sessions complete with a Power Point Presentation and a fully functional Fuel Metering model. Thanks Tom for an excellent presentation on Fuel Metering Systems.Please note we will not have a February meeting at the Bordentown Community Center. The Annual Club Banquet is being held 6:00 PM Saturday night February 10th , 2007 at Wildflowers Too Restaurant in Trenton. Please join the fun and fellowship at this years banquet. Look for the Annual Banquet information in this newsletter and contact Al Bernotas to make reservations. |
