PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
First - Please make plans to join the club at our next meeting
being held Saturday June 9th at 12:00 noon at Jim Brussel and Claudia’s home
in East Windsor New Jersey. Directions are in this newsletter.
Second – The Jersey Late Greats Multi–Club Picnic was a successful
event. As you know, we decided to expand the picnic to include friends from
neighboring car clubs this year. We had a total of 38 automotive enthusiasts
in attendance this year, including friends from the New Jersey Association of
Corvair Enthusiasts, and the Spirits of 53 Corvette Club. We also had a very
rare Hemi powered Dodge Charger, and a “special” Austin Healey at the picnic.
It was great to see the variety of cars at the picnic and talk with the owners.
Every car has a story. This year’s “Spring Fling” picnic was a great opportunity
to fellowship with our neighboring car club friends.

A special Thank You goes out to Leigh and Maureen Humphreys
for doing all the food shopping for the picnic. Also, Al Bernotas, Leigh Humphreys
and Lou DiPietro for sharing their culinary expertise at the grill. Thank you
to all who helped with this year’s event.
Third – The Road Rally Working Group is doing a fantastic
job, and has this year’s event well underway. This year’s Road Rally will be
held Sunday September 23. The starting location is:

The Road Rally flyers look GREAT, and we had a stack of them
at the picnic.
This is where your club …
NEEDS YOUR HELP. Advertising the Road Rally is the way to make this year’s event
a big success. The plan is to distribute the flyers (window drop) at as many
Car Shows and Cruise Nights as we can. Lou DiPietro and Diane Wagner have the
flyers.
If you know you are going to a Car Show or a Cruise Night,
please contact Lou and/or Diane and they will get you as many flyers as you
need. We will also have the flyers at our next meeting at Jim & Claudia’s,
so you can pick them up at that time as well. We need to get our Road Rally
flyer distributed to as many people as possible.
Be sure to mark September 23, 2007 for the Road Rally on your
calendars. I look forward to seeing you at Jim & Claudia’s.
