President’s Message

“A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR “

The sun will set and 2014 memories will fade after that happens I wish you and our Late Great Chevy families A Happy Sparkling 2015 New Year. My first order of business is to send my sincere thanks to all have shown their confidence in me to be your President for a second year, so here we go up, up and away to 2015. I will do my best for our wonderful Late Great Chevy club. THANK YOU!!!

Our club Holiday meeting was held December 7, 2014 and very successful I heard. Unfortunately I myself, Bob Kieffer and my brother Wayne Hertel could not attend due to a surprise birthday party that was planned for Bob by his children.;We did miss one of the best meetings of the year; it is
always a fun time. My apologies to all for not attending, it was beyond my control. At the December meeting elections were held, votes were counted and our new officers are: myself Lydia Schmidt President, Ted Gerlach Vice President, Sharon Danfield Secretary and Verne Frantz Treasurer, Sargent at Arms Al Bernotas, Welcome to all.

Many thanks go to Sharon Danfield for taking on the task of our chairperson for our December buffet meeting. My understanding is Sharon did a great job putting it all together, Thank you so much Sharon.

A resolution for all members for the New Year would be to attend our monthly meetings. It would be great to meet and greet all of you. There are members that I have not met; it would be nice to put a face with a name. Give it a try; it would really be a wonderful thing. I would love to meet all our members.

As you know from our newsletter we have several club events scheduled for the 2015 season. Keep watching the newsletter for all updates. Besides our monthly meetings we have our club Banquet on February 21, 2015. Dawn John Dennery every year chair this great event. They make it a lot of fun. Please contact Dawn Dennery @ 856 456 5416 to R.S.V.P. The sooner the better, February is right around the corner. Location, Ramblewood Country Club, Mt Laurel, N.J.

Until we all meet on January 11, 2015 at Bordentown for our installation of the new board members, stay warm. Come out and support the officers you voted in to run your club.
