The Christmas Party/Meeting was well attended and a good time was had by all. Lots of food, fellowship and we topped it all off with Lydia Schmidt’s “Left/Right/Left” Gift Pass Game.
Jim Thackeray, one member of our Election Clerk Team conducted the election for the 2019 Board. John Lucas could not be present but we would like to thank both members for their flawless performance. The new board is as follows:
President – Mike Berry
Vice President – Leigh Humphreys Treasurer – Verne Frantz Secretary – Maureen Humphreys
Sergeant at Arms – Al Bernotas
There was an important piece of business conducted at the meeting. A unanimous vote approved one of the three suggestions for an amendment to the club By‐Laws. This will now be voted upon by the membership at our regular February 10th meeting after being published in two newsletters. This proposal stipulated how the club assets will be dispersed in the event of the club being disbanded. This should have been incorporated into the By-Laws from the beginning. I want to say once again, the club is not folding any time soon. We’re doing just fine financially and the membership roster is holding steady around 55. Once Proposal 2 (shown below) has been incorporated into the By-Laws, should it become necessary, we would then decide exactly where any assets should go.
Proposal 2. The funds will be donated to the charity/charities decided by the membership. Example: $4,000.00 donated to the America on Wheels Museum in Allentown, PA.

The photo on the last page of the December newsletter is one I shot in 1965 with my Kodak Brownie camera. I thought it would be fun to publish that along with the photos I shot this past November.
I think we’re going to have a fun year in 2019. I want to see more events where we can get our cars out and enjoy them so feel free to submit your ideas and suggestions.
