President’s Message

Let Start Slow, Baby Steps

The state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania are starting to open. We are slowly starting to get out and around again. But it looks like we have a ways to go. Personally, I'm looking forward to a cruise night, car shows or even having a haircut and dinner out would be exciting at this point.

I've been working on my classics. I rebuilt my carburetor on my 64 Impala, got rid of the old gas and filled it up with fresh, gave it a tune up and its running and driving great! As for the Corvette, I installed a new set of horns and to my surprise, it's also running great. I did a small repair to the back window of Maureen's 64 Impala, the canvas inside seem was coming apart.

All of our projects around the home are almost done! Sure, there is always something more we find to do, but it's because we are still stuck home!

Maureen has been planting and gardening. She makes the best strawberry jam. Blackberries are being picked from the backyard as I write this. She is waiting now on the zucchini to grow to make her nut bread.

The Bordentown Community Center is still NOT allowing anyone to meet at the center through July.

We will be meeting at the Dennery's on July 18th (Rain Date Sunday, July 19th) for our Jersey Late Great Summer Picnic. John Lucas sent out an Email blast with information and a contact for Dawn. If you did not respond please do. Contact Dawn or Email her and let her know if you are planning to attend. Please if you are feeling ill or have a temperature at the time of the picnic, please stay home.

There are no planned events for August. On Sunday, August 9th, we will plan to meet at the Bordentown Community Center. If you have an idea please contact Maureen or I, for we are looking for new things to do and places to go!

Hope to see you at the Dennery's
