"Spring Is Just Around the Corner" March is upon us and again I have to report, the Bordentown Community Center is still closed. However, we were able to get together and hold another virtual meeting on February 15th. I had a very short agenda due to the fact that nothing is going on! We held a moment of silent for our dear friend and treasurer, Verne Frantz. Sad time for all!
On a happier note, if you haven't joined us yet on zoom and need a laugh now and then, come on and join us! We do have fun with it!

With great sadness we lost our founder of Jersey Late Greats, Verne L. Frantz. Verne was without a doubt the back bone of this club. He loved the Late Greats, drag racing and this hobby of collecting. Verne was the most knowledgeable of the Late Greats and known by many. Verne and our club members spent countless hours documenting thousands of 1958-1964 full size Chevrolet's and putting together an impressive database of information. He was a diehard for 1958-1964 but was willing to open up our club to 1972 for the benefit of the club.
Maureen and I had lots of time together with Verne and Janet, even taking a weekend excursion together and enjoyed every minute of the fun we shared! Our memories we have and his spirit will be with us forever. We will miss him. One topic needed to be discussed on
our zoom meeting was the Treasury and
who would take the responsibility for
now. Mike Berry has stepped up as
temporary treasurer and Al Bernotas
has offered to pick up the club mail. In
the next few months we will work out
the details. Thank you to you both for
not even giving this a second thought!
