Essex Edwina predicted six more weeks of winter. By the time you read this newsletter, spring should show its face.
We still held our membership meeting on February 13th knowing it was Super Bowl Day and it snowed till 4pm. We even had a club member that we haven't seen for some time surprise us!
My favorite part about these meetings are when we talk about our cars and problems that they are having. We also went over club finances and membership. A big thank you to Mike Berry for all the work he is doing through all this transition.
The good news is, we moved Tom Merring's scheduled program again to March. Tom will be holding not one but two tech sessions! One on rebuilding a two-speed windshield wiper motor and a second on troubleshooting a fuel gage. You won't want to miss this meeting!!
The board even got together to hold a brief meeting after our membership meeting. In December we voted on a motion to have all membership dues paid in January. If you do not understand this motion or the amount you may owe for 2022 please contact Mike Berry and he will update you.
We are always looking for fun events. If there is something of interest in your area that is car related or otherwise, let us know so we can organize that event together. I have received calls about events for the fall and will be looking into them.
The date has been confirmed for May 15th for the club picnic at Washington Township Park. We are planning to celebrate Jersey Late Greats 40th year anniversary. So please mark your calendars today and make plans with your family to celebrate this milestone with us.
Another good event to look forward to is Smithville's All GM Show held June 11th, (Rain Date June 12th) I would love to have
members attend this show to bring
home the group award! Smithville
Village is a great place to visit for the
whole family. Plenty of shopping for
the ladies! In July, the Dennerys will
host a picnic. August and the Fall are
open for ideas, so send me your
thoughts and ideas.
