The Fall Foliage and Covered Bridge Cruise was an event to be remembered. Karen and Jim Thackeray did an outstanding job putting this together for the club. They had every aspect planned out even to the photo spots which Karen handled just fine. I shot a few myself anyway but that’s just me. The weather was just right and the leaves had some nice color. We cruised through the back roads of Bucks County, PA and visited 4 covered bridges and ended up at the Van Sant Historic Airport. What an interesting place, there were several vintage aircraft taking off and landing on the grass runway. We were allowed to bring our cars onto the field for photos with one of the Bi Planes. After that we have a meal at an Italian restaurant and headed home before it got dark. A great day for the club.

Our next get together will be at the
above mentioned car show in
Rieglesville, PA where we will have a
short meeting sometime during the
show. I have been told it’s a good show and if you want a good parking space, get there at 7 AM. I hope to see you there. December will be the fabulous Christmas Party/meeting where we will have a covered dish buffet and the always popular “Left/Right “ gift exchange.
