Summer is officially over as of September 21 2014. To me it still feels
like summer with quite a few 80 degree days which means more good Chevy cruisin
to see the FALL FOLIAGE. This weather is very pleasant, it’s hard to believe
old man winter is on his way. The leaves on the trees are falling fast, but
the beauty of the fall colors is gorgeous. Just take that last Chevy cruise
through some of the country roads and enjoy the ride. Get those Chevy’s rollin.
Speaking of Fall there is a Armed Forces Freedom Run Car Show on Saturday October
18 @ 10 AM “FALL FLING FESTIVAL” @ THE Burlington County Fairgrounds, RT 206

Car show, Tractor Pull, 5K race and Punkin Chunkin.
Our Vice President Frank Visco did a wonderful job at our September 14 meeting,
which I could not attend. Thank you Frank and also thank you to his helper Tom
Merring for transporting all notes, agenda, gavel etc that Frank needed to run
the meeting. Thanks Guys!! Much Appreciated.
My discussion with Frank Visco about the meeting, it appears there was interest
in a Lighthouse Tour/ Lincoln Highway Cruise for 2015, along with a Warren County
Morris Canal Cruise, and another Junk Yard Run. These are just a few of the
work in progress events for the coming year.
Our Sargent at arms, Al Bernotos has scheduled the Fall Burlington Chevrolet
display for October 25, no rain date. Please see more details within this newsletter.

Please mark your calendar: Our next monthly meeting is October 12, 2014 @ the
Bordentown Community Center @ 5PM. This meeting will be the beginning of board
nominations with the need for an election chairperson to begin the process .Please
take the nominations seriously. It is very important to have board members guide
the club each year in all endeavors and events
One more important issue, as you know Verne Frantz has been working on A Wheel
and Cap Guide which needs to be finished. Verne is asking anyone who would like
to help gather more needed information and other necessary parts of this book
to give him a call or e-mail him. His email and tel number is in the front of
our newsletter as Verne is also our Treasurer. We need to get this done.
